Katherine Palmer McMillion, 83, passed away on February 11, 2026.

Katherine had a passion for gardening and a tender heart for all animals. She enjoyed painting the natural beauty around her.

Born in Amelia, she was the third child of Edward & Clara Palmer. She is survived by Irvin, her husband of 63 years; their four children: Tracie Holmes (Mark), Damon McMillion (Alesia), Amy Lafoon (Chuck), & Diana McMillion; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her sisters Nancy Walker & Frances Lowery. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Amelia.
