Fredrick Stuart Skipper Sr., born on November 19, 1940, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in Amelia Court House, Virginia. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend. Known for his hard work and dedication, Fredrick built a successful career as a truck driver in the trucking industry, a role he approached with passion and commitment.

Fredrick was preceded in death by his wife Doma Skipper and his son Phillip Skipper, and is survived by his loving children: Frederick Skipper Jr., Rebecca, Angie McDaniel (Glenn), and Michele Skipper (Larry Apperson), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered by his brothers, William Skipper and Ronnie Skipper; his sisters, Joyce Smith, Nancy Llewellyn, Carolyn Dabney, and Jean Skipper. Fredrick's family will forever cherish the memories they shared and the love he brought into their lives.A funeral service will be held in his honor at Amelia Baptist Church on August 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Mattoax Cemetery, Mason Lane in Amelia. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Fredrick's life and legacy during this time of remembrance.
