Garrett Steven Hickman (Gary) 72 passed away August 25 , 2015. He was preceded in death by  parents Andrew Hickman and Bertha Hawkins Hickman Pippin; step parents Neal Pippin and Marie Harold Hickman; brother Eugene and beloved aunt Ruby. He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Barbara Chamberlin Hickman; children Gary and Karen; grandson Steven; brothers Leon, Ronald and Andrew; sisters Anita and Andrea; beloved aunt Katie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and his loyal canine companions Raven and Amigo. Although a native of Bristol TN, Gary lived in Dundalk MD for 50 years before settling in Jetersville VA in 2008. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses Gary served as a ministerial servant until his death. Gary's favorite scripture is Isaiah 41:10 Do not be afraid for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.
