Gerald W. (Jerry) Denton passed away May 15, 2015 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Smith Denton and Otto T. Denton, step father, Harvey Guynn.   He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Denton (Shirley), Step sisters, JoAnn Joswick (Mark), Terry Tilley (Mark), and step brothes, Michael Guynn (Terri) and Ricky Guynn (Lisa) and his beloved pets, Zeus and PoPo.  There will be a Celebration of Life at his home on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2:00 p. m.  19650 Maplewood Road, Amelia, Virginia 23002.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
