Glenn Lawrence, age 88, of Amelia, passed from this life on Dec. 1, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, and is survived by his son, David; daughter Linda Kirkman, both of Amelia; brother, Grover C. Lawrence of Chesterfield; granddaughter, Sarah Nearhood; and one great grandchild (Vaden Nearhood). Funeral services Wednesday 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home with interment in Union Baptist Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Tuesday from 6-8PM.
