SANFORD, GLENN FREDERICK, 61 of Crewe, Virginia; went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Clifton Sanford. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Marilyn N. Sanford, his daughter Shannon Kay Sanford and grandson Jon Jasper Corcoran. He is also survived by his mother Catherine Sanford, his sister Barbara Champine (Bob), Linda Koivuniemu (Paul) and brother Charlie Sanford (Nancy). He retired from Phillip Morris in February, 2006 after 30 years of service as a fixer. The family will receive friends at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia, Virginia at 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and 5:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 3 and 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and 5:00 - 8:00 pm, on Friday, April 4. A memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE TWO DAYS OF VISITATION.
