Grace Anderson Lively, age 75, of Jetersville, Va., went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2017.  Gracie was born in 1941 to Milton Sydney and Ruth Payne Anderson.  She loved music and was a  very respected and talented musician and music teacher having played in several churches in the Amelia community.  She also taught for over twenty years at Amelia Elementary School.  She is survived by: her husband, Joe; her son, John H. (Tracey) of Charleston, SC; daughter, Karen Askew and her fiance Michael Smith of Amelia; her twin sister Ada Coleman (Otho) Fraher of Amelia; nieces, Cindy James (Richard) of Savannah GA, Carter Samuels (Jeff) of Amelia, and Beth Dawson (Kenneth) of Amelia; seven grandchildren (Grayson, Tanner, Spencer, Emma Kate, Justin, Caroline, and Joshua) and ten grandnieces/nephews (Kaitlyn, Meredith, Emily Grace, Katie, Hailey, Mathew, Sydney, Ryan, Andrew and Ryley).  Funeral services 11AM Thursday Feb. 23, at the Amelia Presbyterian Church, 16401 Dunn St. in Amelia, VA with burial following in the church cemetery.   Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia Wed. 6-8PM.  Contributions may be made to donors favorite charity or church.
