Grace Florence Sanderson, age 88, of Blackstone, formerly of Amelia went to be with the Lord on Feb. 15, 2021.   She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents John and Annie Russell Ripley, her daughter Susan Elizabeth Cope, and nine siblings.  She is survived by her son Richard Keith Sanderson of NC.  Grace was a gracious and kind person who loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  A graveside service will be held at 2PM on Sunday February 21, at the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to John.   Grace will lie in state at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home  16409 Court St. in Amelia on Friday from 12 noon to 5PM.  Condolences at www.hillsmanhix.com
