Grover Cleveland Lawrence, age 98 of Yale, VA, passed away on January 11, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Lawrence, son William Lawrence, and parents James and Pansie Lee Lawrence.  He is survived by his children (Edward, Andrea, Patricia, Beverly), grandchildren (Lisa, Stephen, Michele, Austin, Krista, Dru, Wayne) and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM on Friday January 13, at Hillsman-Hix funeral home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia VA.  Graveside services will be at 1 pm on Saturday January 14 at Pine Grove Cemetery.
