Harriet M. Barden, age 101 and eight months, of Amelia entered her eternal resting place on Nov. 12, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband Sinclair, her son Donald Barden, and is survived by her daughters Nancy Combs of  Roanoke, and Doris Bohannon (Andrew "Bo")  of Amelia; her sister Patsy Verser of Crewe, her loving daughter-in-law Judy Koch (Chuck) of Chesterfield, beloved granddaughter Dawn Milton (Brian), great grandsons Donnie(Nicole) and Cameron Jarrell.  Funeral services 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia, with burial in Union Baptist Cemetery.  Visiting at the funeral home Tuesday 6-8:00 p.m.  Contributions to Union Baptist Church Building Fund.
