Snellings Henrietta B. Snellings, age 68, of Burkeville, passed from this life on March 28, 2012. She is survived by her husband, James Linwood Snellings, sons, J. R. & Wife Leigh Snellings of Amelia,& Chucky Snellings of Burkeville, daughters, Teresa Williams & husband David of Powhatan, & Anita & husband Rev. Whit Mayton of Burkeville, sisters, Jackie Williams & husband Paul of Tennessee & Bonita Davis & husband Jimmy of Crewe. Eight grandchildren, Caitlin Hartley and husband Jonathan of Princeton NC, Kenny Snellings of Powhatan, Chelsea Snellings & Tori Snellings, both of Amelia, Noah Mayton, Kimberly Mayton, and Bethany Mayton all of Burkeville. She also leaves behind loving nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends. Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia on Thursday from 6-8PM. Funeral services Friday 2PM at Lighthouse Church of God of Prophesy 2034 E. Patrick Henry Highway Burkeville, Va. with burial following in the Crewe Cemetery.
