Henry Allen Jones, age 70, of Amelia, passed from this life on January 22, 2017.  He was a farmer at heart and loved being outside on the tractor.  Henry is survived by his longtime companion Phyllis Hallik, his son Brad (Krissy) Jones, daughter Hope (Chris) Akery, four grandchildren: Morgan, Matthew, Amelia and Nick; two brothers, Sid and Tim Jones; two sisters, Doris Barden and Mitzie Flippin.  Henry was a loving uncle and a great friend to his many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his sister Emma Lee Moore.  Funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 26, at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia, with Military Honors and a reception to follow at the funeral home Hospitality facility.  Interment will be private.
