Hermine O. "Kitty" Pembelton, age 86 of Amelia, passed away on January 8, 2015. The wife of the late Herman Pembelton, she is survived by her sons Ronnie Pembelton (Janet), Ray Pembelton (Susan), daughter Joyce P. Morris (Jimmy), all of Amelia; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Saturday January 10 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A church service is set for 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Bethel UMC in Jetersville with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Bethel UMC, 472 Hines Lane, Rice, VA 23966.
