Hester Alison Anderson Boyles, age 93, of Amelia, passed away on June 28, 2013.  The wife of the late Craig Boyles, she was predeceased by her parents, Ephraim and Ida Anderson, and siblings "Sonny" Anderson, Dorothy Woods, William Anderson, George Anderson, Douglas Anderson, "Buster" Anderson and "Kitty" Willing.  She is survived by her two sons, A.C. and Ricky Boyles; siblings Elizabeth Morris, Shirley Martin, Ernestine Poore, Joe Anderson, and Aubrey Anderson; and her granddaughter Jorgee Johnson.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 164089 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday July 1 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pine Grove Presbyterian Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Amelia Relay for Life.
