Irvin C. Barnard, age 76, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 10, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Betty, son, Chester, and daughter, Amanda Covington all of Amelia, brothers, Phil and Carroll both of Amelia and sister, Clara Lucks of Richmond, three granddaughters, two grandsons, and five great grandchildren. Funeral service 11AM Thursday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Wed. 6:00-8:30PM.
