James C. Dorsey, Jr. passed from this life on February 14, 2021. He is survived by his wife Joy of Cumberland; daughters Kaureen (Chad) Billheimer of OH, Tina (Shannon) Martin of Powhatan, Becky Dorsey of Cumberland, Rachel (James) Brevard of Powhatan; five granddaughters, Hailey, Penny, Karley, Annabelle and Rose; brothers Roger (Pam), Arnold (Cheri), Bobby (Ali),Randy Dorsey and sister Jo (Bruce) Rogers of WV; Sister in laws ,Betty Dorsey, Joyce Dorsey of WV also numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by Father, James C. Dorsey Sr., Mother, Louise Dorsey, brothers, Dean Dorsey and David Dorsey. Sister-in-law Donna Dorsey.  James retired from NCR as a field engineer, was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Navy where he served 14 years. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church of Chesterfield.  He attended Tabernacle Baptist Bible Institute of Virginia Beach and was a licensed minister.  Services and interment are private, to be held at Virginia Veterans Cemetery with military honors on Monday, February 22nd.
