Beloved son, brother, and uncle passed away on March 25, 2025. Born February 11, 1960 he developed Retinitis Pigmentosa at a young age and lost his sight. Even through all the challenges life gave him, he kept a cheerful nature and remained independent. He was a dedicated employee of Virginia Industries for the Blind for over 35 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Ada Irby Dickman and James "Henry" Franklin Sr, and by his sisters Mary Virginia Franklin and Leatha Mae Franklin Boyles. He is survived by sisters, Nancy and Joann. He leave behind nieces: Susan, Laura, Beth, Sarah, Jorgee and Katie to cherish and honor his memory.  Graveside services were held on Friday March 28, 2025 at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice, Va.
