James Larry Garrett, age 77, of Jetersville, Va. Passed from this life on March 23, 2026 at his home. He was the son of the late James Monroe and Louise Shell Garrett, preceded in death also by his sister; Barbara Garrett Wheelhouse , and is survived by his wife; Elizabeth P. Garrett, sisters, Phyllis French (Pete) of Shelby Alabama, Gloria Longest (Johnny) of Chester,Va., brother, Steven W. Garrett of Chesterfield, his children, Denna Wyne (Leonard), Robert W. Garrett, (Jennifer) of Powhatan, Teresa Coleman of Farmville, and Tammy Rhoten of Boonesville, MS. Services and interment are private for the convenience of the family.
