James Elbert Stone, age 84, of Richmond, formerly of Amelia, passed from this life on July 28, 2013. Born in Nottoway County on April 5, 1929 to James Elbert Stone, Sr. and Norma Redford Stone. He is survived by his wife Peggy Jones Stone, his daughter, Susan Elizabeth Stewart of Uganda, his brother, Charles Redford Stone, of Amelia, sisters Lucy Page Wagner of Richmond and Patricia Hobson of TX. Services and interment are private and are under the direction of the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home of Amelia
