Janie Frances Anderson, age 76, of Amelia, passed away on June 23, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Anderson Sr. and brothers Swanson Moorefield and Curtis Moorefield.  She is survived by her daughters Debbie Davis of Amelia and Denise Marshall of Richmond, VA; sisters Alene Freeman of Danville, VA and Ollie Vasser of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25. 2013 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  A chapel service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday June 26 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Amelia Presbyterian Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
