On Sunday, April 24, 2022, Mrs. Jeanette Warren Armistead went to be with the Lord.  She was 94 years young.  She was preceded in death by both parents, Jasper J. Warren, Sr. and Fannie J.. Warren; and her husband, Edward (Ed) S. Armistead and son, Edward S. (Sam); her brothers, Richard (Bill) M. Warren, Jasper (Jay) Warren, Jr. and James (Pete) Warren.   She is survived by her son, Mike Armistead (Janet), and two daughters, Susan Moore (Gary) and Joy Garrett, John Lane; a special nephew Jimmy Warren; grandsons Chris, Michael, Joe and Jamie, three great grandsons Wyatt, Waylon and Oliver, sister-in-laws Ann and Susan Warren, and many friends.   She was an Elder and Treasurer of the Rennie Memorial Presbyterian Church.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 27 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday April 28 at Rennie Memorial Cemetery.
