Jerry David Shank, age 69 of Amelia, passed away on November 5, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his companion Betty Eggleston, father David Elliot Shank, and brothers Ronnie Shank and Kenneth Shank.  He is survived by his mother Ruth; children Judy Adams (Kenneth) of Nottoway, Jerry Lee Shank (Stacey) of Powhatan, and Jamie David Shank (Tracy) of Amelia; the mother of his children Jackie Richardson of Jetersville; brother Gary Martin Shank (Lisa) of Maryland and sister Margie Ann Lynn (Wayne) of Amelia; grandchildren Nicholas Adams, Matthew Adams, Justin Shank, Tiffany Shank, Katelin Shank, several nieces and nephews, and his favorite dog Oscar.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday November 11, 2017 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Interment will be private.
