Jessie Kelly Lunn age 87, of Amelia, departed this earth on February 5, 2015  after a brief illness.   She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dorsey Lunn, Jr. and is survived by three daughters and their spouses; Myra and Roger Morgan, Amelia, Dale  Johnson, of Amelia ; Billie and Henry Thomas, of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; one son and his spouse, Kelly and Linda Lunn, Albuquerque, NM; ; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of dedicated faithful and loving friends.  She was a member of the Amelia Baptist Church where she was a longtime member of the Joy Lydia Sunday School Class.   The family will receive friends from at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. on Sunday from 7-9PM and where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday Feb. 9, 2015.  Interment will follow at the Amelia Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Amelia Baptist Church at 9101 Amelia Street, P.O. Box 452 Amelia, VA  23002, for the 2015 Vacation Bible School Program.
