Joan Rhoten Tyler, age 83 of Moseley, passed away on April 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Billie Jack Tyler and son Timothy Tyler. She is survived by her children, Eustacia Marcelle Tyler of Moseley and Billie Jonathan Tyler of Louisa; grandchildren Rachel Turner of Rocky Mount, VA, Rebecca Turner of Leonardtown, MD, Eustacia Scohy of Wilmington, NC, Bradley Scohy of Wilmington, NC, Russell Tyler Scohy of Wilmington, NC, Sadie L. Tyler of South Chesterfield, Sarah Tyler of Louisa, Cody Tyler of North Chesterfield and Whitney Chrisman of Upland, CA, and sixteen great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Skinquarter Baptist Church in Moseley.  A church service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Skinquarter Baptist Church Youth Program.
