John Henry Cave, age 71, of Amelia, passed away on December 31, 2009. He is survived by his daughter Charmion Epperson of Chesterfield and son John Early Cave of Amelia; brothers Thomas and Jake Cave of Amelia; sisters Judy Edwards of Crewe and Jean Barnard of Amelia; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday January 1, 2010 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 2 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
