Davis John Gordon Davis, age 74, of Amelia, passed from this life on Dec. 19, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, sons, Scott of Amelia, Johnny and Duane Davis both of Arlington, Texas, his brother, Fred Stephen Davis, Jr., of Amelia and his grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Carolyn Weaver, Loretta Davis and brother Paige Davis. Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court ST. in Amelia from 1:00-2:30PM on Tuesday (Today) with funeral services following at 3:00PM. Interment is private.
