John Garland Jefferson III,  age 85 of Amelia, Va. passed from this life on Sept. 27, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth Jane Jefferson and his parents, John Garland Jefferson, II, Elizabeth Mann Baskerville Jefferson, and is survived by his children; Rebecca Jefferson Cave, Elizabeth Mann Dickerson, John William Jefferson, Lisa Jane Jefferson, Kristen Jane Condrey, grandchildren, Emily Parker Cave, Eoghan W. Jefferson, Canyon Dale Dickerson. John was retired from the Unites States Postal Dept. and was a US Army veteran.  A memorial service will be held on Friday October 1, 2021 at 6PM at the family home at 13513 Dykeland Road in Amelia.
