John Wayne Lindsey, age 52, of Amelia, passed from this life on July 24, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Martha, sons, John Wayne Lindsey Jr. and his wife Lisa of Farmville, Randy Travis Lindsey of Amelia, his mother, Frances Hobdy of Amelia, brother, Ricky Lindsey of Cumberland, sisters, Diane Davis of Powhatan, and Donna Bryant of Chesterfield.  Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday July 27, 2012 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Mattoax Cemetery.  Visiting at the funeral home 6-8PM on Thursday.
