John William Sayers Sr., age 73, of Amelia, passed from this life on Feb. 2, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Dorothy Sayers, his wife Doloris, and his brother Elmer "Tug" Sayers.  John is survived by his children, Paul of Amelia, John Jr. and Greg Sayers, both of Springfield, Faith Phillips of Richmond, VA, Tina Belcher of Hardy, VA, Patty Brown and Renae Collins, both of Roanoke; brothers James of Charlottesville and Tom of Winchester; sisters Jackie Craddock of Richmond, Sue Brock of Culpepper, and Lucille Gregory of Midlothian; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and his beloved dog "Killer".   A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday April 26 at the Abundant Life Tabernacle 18801 Patrick Henry Highway Amelia, Va. 23002
