Joseph B. Bryant, Sr., age 84, of Amelia, passed from this life on August 21, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Maude Bryant and his wife of forty nine years, Ethel Bowman Bryant. He is survived by his sons, Joseph B. Jr. of Chesterfield, Steve of Amelia, Harold of Midlothian,, daughters, Regina Fahrner of Cumberland, Carolyn Honeycutt of Tennessee, Nancy Davis of Farmville, brother, Tom of Amelia, fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services Sunday 3PM at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with burial in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, Va. Visiting Sat. 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral Home.
