Joseph E. Godsey, age 68 of Amelia, passed from this life on August 21, 2013.  He is survived by his daughter, Tami Kirkman, and son, Joseph  both of Amelia, two brothers, Ricky Godsey and David Godsey, and six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Godsey and Thelma Irene Orcutt Godsey, and brother Jimmy.  Memorial services 11AM on Sat. Aug. 24, 2013 at Genito Presbyterian Church 2910 Genito Rd. in Powhatan with interment private. Arrangements by the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home of Amelia, Va.
