Joyce Ann Childress, age 81, of Henrico, Va., passed from this life on November 14, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her husband William Louis Childress; her parents Lillian and Edwin Berryman; her daughter Lorie Greene and her son Paul Childress.  She is survived by her children William Lewis Childress (Faye), of Quinton, Chris Childress (Melissa), of Highland Springs, Michael Childress (Tina) of Henrico, David Edwin Childress (Alicia) of Midlothian, Rita Bruce (Jimmy) of Highland Springs, and Paula Hancock (Phillip) of Mechanicsville; her brother Edwin Mallory Berryman; sisters Donelda Engleman, Stella Mann and Marion Crawley all of Richmond; sixteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held on Friday November 16, 2018 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home with interment in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
