Judy McCraw Settle, age 73 of Amelia, passed away on September 11, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy M. and Aline Hartman McCraw, and son Roy M. Settle.  Judy is survived by her husband Freddie, children Lonnie Miller of FL, Buffy E. Ogden of Amelia, and David A. Settle of Amelia; sisters Jean M. Smith and Janet L. Poore, both of Amelia; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Judy retired after 21 years from the Va. Dept. of Corrections and was a member of Salem UMC of Amelia.   Visiting at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia from 6-8PM on Wednesday September 14, and where services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday September 15, with interment following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
