Junior Ray Dempsey, (Pop), age 82, of Amelia, formerly of West Virginia passed from this life on August 27, 2014.   He was an Army veteran and was an ex-coalminer.  He is survived by his two sons, Billy Dempsey and John Dempsey both of Amelia,  his daughter-in-law, Tammy and three grandchildren, Dustin, Kimberly and Michael, nieces Louise Pleskovitch and Annamae Carter both of Wisconsin, Mary Lusietta and Linda Justi, both of Illinois, and a nephew, Roy Hodges of Nevada.  He is preceded in death by his parents John Henry Dempsey and Sara Ethal from West Virginia.  Pops was a loving man.  Rest in Peace Pops. We love you!!  Services are private and interment will take place at a later date in West Virginia.
