Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share with you the news of Mom's passing early this morning. Katherine Mae Jones lived a full and loving life and now she has finally ended her battle with Alzheimer's. The family will be having a memorial service for her at Cokesbury Memorial United Methodist Church in Abingdon, Maryland on Friday, March 18th at 11:00AM.  There will be a service in the sanctuary then interment in the church's cemetery… The family is eternally grateful for your prayers and support through this difficult time. Katherine Mae Schiller, 88, of North Chesterfield, died March 15, 2016, after an extended illness with Alzheimer's disease.    She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore E. Schiller and is survived by her sons Larry Schiller of North Ft. Myers, Florida and Theodore Schiller, Jr. of La Plata, Maryland: step-sons, Donald Anderson of Ft.  Lauderdale, Florida, and John Anderson of Manassas, Virginia: daughters, Deborah Greenberg and Kathy Hutton, both of North Chesterfield, Virginia: 11_ grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  The family will be forever grateful for her caregivers, Eddie Adams and Mary Short of Hilltop Elder Care in Amelia, Virginia.  There will be a memorial service at the Cokesbury Memorial United Methodist Church in Abington, Maryland followed by interment at the Cokesbury Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers contributions maybe made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
