Kathleen Walsh Rodgers went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 8, 2020. She passed due to complications resulting from her four-decade long struggle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

She is preceded in death by her father William M. Walsh of New Hyde, Ny.  She is survived by her beloved son; Arthur "Artie" N. Rodgers, of New Hyde Park NY (formally of Amelia Va.) her loving fmr. Husband, Arthur Nelson Rodgers II of Amelia Va., and her dear mother Emily Lloyd Walsh of New Hyde Park, NY. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 3 sisters along with 20 nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Pace University in 1989 with bachelor's degree in Insurance and Business. She was a Senior Commercial Lines and Agribusiness Underwriter for The Travelers Insurance Company, Midlothian Va. She was forced to retire due to deteriorating health in 2001. She was also very active in foreign Christian mission work with multiple trips to Russia helping Orphans and spreading the Gospel.

For the remainder of her life she dedicated herself to raising her son, helping children around the world through mission support and fighting her battle with RA. She will always be remembered for her gentle loving spirit, contagious smile, and always putting helping others before herself. Kathy loved above all: her Lord and Savior, her Son and her amazing loving family and friends spread across the globe. She will be sorely missed by all whom knew her. She and her family were longtime active members of Amelia Baptist Church, after relocating to NY. Kathy became an active member in the worship ministry and family of Beacon Church, East Williston NY.

Her family will Celebrate her life at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, with the doors opening at 6:30PM Friday21st with service beginning at 7 PM followed by a reception after the service at the funeral home
