It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kelly DeHart Tinsley, who left us peacefully on January 6, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on July 13, 1965, in Richmond, Virginia, Kelly was a cherished brother, uncle, and friend whose spirit touched many lives. Living in Amelia Court House, Virginia, Kelly found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time with his beloved family or forging lasting friendships in his community. He is survived by his loving sister, Jan Hancock, and his nephew, Jacob Key, both of whom will carry his memory in their hearts forever. In celebration of Kelly's life, a memorial service will be held on February 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mattoax Presbyterian Church. Friends, family, and all who knew Kelly are invited to gather and share stories, laughter, and tears in honor of a man who lived life with passion and purpose. As we remember Kelly, let us treasure the moments we shared and celebrate the legacy of kindness, hard work, and love that he leaves behind.
