Kirk A. Muse, age 53, of Amelia, passed from this life on Saturday, August 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife Laura Muse, of 26 years; his daughters Ashley Muse of Amelia, and Megan Muse of Amelia; and his mother Joan Marie Muse. He was a loving, devoted, and faithful husband and father who loved to work with his hands. Any donations should be made to the American Heart Association.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Friday August 12, 2016 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia with a private interment after the service.  The family will receive friends and relatives after the service at Amelia Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.  In addition the family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
