Larry W. Rogers, age 68, of Amelia, passed away on December 13, 2014.  He is survived by his wife Marian; daughters Helen Rogers of Richmond, Jennifer Rogers Krull of Kingsport, TN, Shannon Rogers Flippin of Amelia, and Lorraine Bell of Chicago; brothers James Rogers of WV, and Forrest "Pete" Rogers of WV; and five grandchildren Kyle Krull, Maddie Rogers, Jackson Flippin, Colt Flippin and Ethan Bell.  He was a past Master of the Amelia Masonic Lodge 101 and Shriners Provost Guard.  A masonic service is scheduled for 6 pm Tuesday December 16 at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia, to be followed by visitation lasting till 8 pm.  A church Service is set for 3 pm Wednesday at Amelia Presbyterian Church.  Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to Shriners Hospital for Children.
