Laurie Jean Amburn, age 57, of Amelia, went to be with her Jesus  on February 16, 2021.  She is survived by her husband, Troy; her father Gerald Christiana of Maryland; her children Candice Welch and Daniel Welch both of Ohio; her grand daughter Scarlett Welch; brothers Jack Christiana of Indiana, and James Christiana of New Mexico; and sister Kim Christiana-Howe and husband Robert, also of New Mexico. Predeceased by her mother Saundra Earle Christiana and brother Richard Christiana.  Services and interment are private.  Laurie was a member of Salem UMC of Amelia, Va.
