Leatha Franklin Boyles, 70 of Amelia passed away November 8, 2022 She grew up in Amelia County and became a registered nurse and went on to become one of the first female nurse practitioner graduates of UVA. She loved and enjoyed caring for the patients she saw.   She is survived by her husband, A.C. Boyles and her daughter Jorgee Johnson (Brent).   She also leaves behind her brother James H. Franklin Jr, and her sisters Nancy Miano and Joann Franklin Firmin.  Services will be private.
