Lee C. Smith, age 90, of Amelia, passed from this life on July 18, 2009. Preceded in death by his wife Margaret and is survived by his sons, Jerry and wife Jeanie of Amelia and Roger and wife Judy of Marshville, N. C., two grandsons, Jerry, Jr. and wife Ann Marie Smith, and Dean Smith both of Amelia, five great grandchildren, Samantha, Tripp, Jack, James Smith and Reilly Smith, brother, James H. Smith of Amelia and sister, Edna Phillips of Nottoway and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday 1:00PM at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home in Amelia with burial in Lakeview Cemetery Blackstone, Va. Visiting at the funeral home Sunday 6:00-8:00PM.
