Lelah Brown, 78, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Powhatan, VA. Lelah was a devoted mother to her children - Dwayne, Regina, Danny, Scott, Dana and Charlie, her brother Jerry Eller, sisters Barb Willis and Peggy Haley, along with 18 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Guy T. Brown Jr., her parents Lester and Virginia Eller, and her son Danny Brown. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was getting lost in the pages of her Bible or Western Romance ,playing card games and Sorry,waiting to catch the big fish, but mostly loving her Savior Jesus Christ, and enjoying the company of her cherished family and friends. As we gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Lelah Katie Brown, we invite you to join us in honoring her memory. A public viewing will take place at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St, in Amelia on July 4, 2024, at 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, all who knew her are welcome. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am on July 5, 2024 at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
