Linda Harbottle, 67, passed away on August 11, 2026, in Amelia, VA.

Linda Harbottle was born on April 21, 1959 in Parkersburg, WV, to Billy Clark and Donna Clark.

Linda graduated from Douglas Freeman High School in 1977. She started her career as a medical supplies associate at McKesson Corporation and went on to work in a number of other types of businesses until she retired in 2009.

Linda married John (Jack) Harbottle on May 11, 1985 in Richmond, VA.

Linda was best known as a caring family member, friend, and neighbor. Born in West Virginia, she grew up in Virginia Beach and enjoyed being so close to the beach and the ocean. Upon graduating high school, she lived in California for a few years before settling in Richmond, Virginia working at McKesson Corporation. There, she met the love of her life, Jack Harbottle. Linda and Jack loved to camp, spending time each summer in their camper or a cabin at Virgina Beach, the Shenandoah valley, and other East Coast locales. As the years passed and she retired from a variety of types of work, she spent her time caretaking for her husband, in sickness and in health, and being there for her nieces and nephews when needed. She was the organizer and hostess of many family gatherings for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Linda loved animals, and was "Mom" to many Irish setters and cats. Linda was active in her neighborhood and community, enjoying the Friday night summer dock happy hours with friends and neighbors. An avid reader, Linda spent many quiet days with a good book on her porch, near nature. Finally, Linda was an active church member, with many offices held on church boards, assisting with decorating the church for activities, and donating her time and money to Christian charitable efforts.

Linda is survived by Heather Harbottle - niece, Candice Rose - niece, Holly Workman - niece, Robert Harbottle II - Brother in law, Sharon Harbottle -sister in law, Samantha Sibley - niece, and William Brown - nephew, and many great nieces and great nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by John Harbottle - husband, Billy Clark - father, Donna Clark - mother, Charlotte Raines -sister, Robert Harbottle III - nephew, Phil Harbottle - brother in law, and Robert and Teresina Harbottle - parents in law.

The service for Mrs. Linda Harbottle will be held on August 29, 2026 at 12:00pm at Mount Hope Baptist Church, Amelia, VA.

Linda will be laid to rest alongside her husband Jack at Mattoax Cemetery, Amelia, VA.

Memorial donations can be made in Linda's name to the ASPCA or the American Heart Association.
