Linda Marie Eanes Hudson

Passed from this life on August 31, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. Eanes and Ophelia H. Eanes and her brothers Harold Jr and Tommy Eanes. She is survived by brother Greg (Linda) Eanes, her loving son Duane Hudson (Christina) and grandchildren Zachary and Alyssa. Linda retired from Verizon after 30+ years and was active in her community, serving as volunteer for the Amelia County Emergency Squad for over 40 years which earned her an honorary lifetime membership.

The family would like to give thanks and appreciation to Connie White and friends for all the love and support during the later years of her life. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday Sept. 4, 2026 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, on Route 460 in Rice, VA. Visitation will be held on Thursday Sept. 3, 2026 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16416 Court St. in Amelia, VA.
