Lois C. Daniel, age 81 of Crewe, passed away on December 29, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Daniel, Sr., grandson Daniel J. Pennesi, and sister Christine Cook.  She is survived by her daughter Dorothy Pennesi (Joseph) of South Boston; her son Raymond Daniel of Crewe, stepson Joseph Daniel, Jr. (Sherrie) of Prince George, and stepson Richard M. Daniel (Vickie) of Midlothian; grandson David Pennesi of Arlington; siblings William Cook (Susan) of Chesterfield and Bertha Cook, Charlie Cook (Gail), and Robert Cook, all of Crewe.  Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday December 31 at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.  The family will receive friends from 10:45 a.m to 11:45 a.m. at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. Contributions  maybe made to the Crewe Christian Church in her memory.
