Loma Blankenship Dixon, age 84, of Chesterfield, formerly of Amelia, passed from this life on Dec. 12, 2020.  She is survived by her husband, Tyler, her sisters; Mary (Harrison) Weaver and Joan Blankenship both of Amelia, Madglee and husband Mario of Florida,  her brother; Dwight Blankenship (Beatrice)  of New York, and Jan Blankenship (Mary) of Crewe.  She is preceded in death by her parents; Roscoe and Drama Plemmons Blankehship and Jackie (Clara) Blankenship,  Neal (Jane) Blankenship, and Gerald Blankenship.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday Dec. 15, at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Cemetery 5201 Little Flock Church Lane in Amelia.  Mrs. Dixon will lie-in-state from 12 Noon to 6:00PM on Monday Dec. 14, 2020 at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home 16409 Court St. in Amelia.
