Loraine Elizabeth McCoy Culbertson, age 87 of Jetersville, went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2022.  Much like her beloved garden, she nurtured and loved her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband James William Culbertson, her daughter Terry Lane, her parents Kelly and Maggie McCoy, and siblings Ralph McCoy, Earl McCoy, Carl McCoy, Christine McCoy, and Corrine Mullins.  She is survived by her grandsons Tony (Sara) Lane and Tim (Melissa) Lane, both of Amelia, and great grandchildren Zachary Lane of Richmond, and Molly Lane and Connor Lane of Amelia, and her sister Helen Franks (Wayne) and brother-in-law Hubert Mullins all of Coeburn, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday March 11 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Rennie Memorial Cemetery.
