Lucas Matthew Hanna, age 16 of Amelia, tragically departed this life on July 2, 2022. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmother Gloria Pender and uncles Shawn and Troy Pender.  He is survived by his parents Jennifer and Rodney Wallace, sister Riley Hanna, maternal grandparents Margarete (Gary) Pender, and Matt (Patty) Wilson, paternal grandparents Candy and Mike Smith; godparents Josh and Emily Locke; also survived by aunts and uncles Jon and Iryna Wilson, Amy Wilson, Constance Heinz, and Nathaniel Moffat, Camrain and Brad Lee and Krissy Cluka, his cousin Sonya Wilson and many more cousins. Lucas enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his ATV, sports, working out and hanging out with friends. He was a loyal fan of the Detroit Lions. Funeral services are at 12 Noon on Saturday July 9th at Amelia County High School with private interment following. Visitation on Friday from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucas' memory to Amelia County Parks and Rec., P.O.
