Lucas McCain Radford, age 17, of Amelia, passed away on March 23, 2013.  A Junior at Amelia County High School, he is survived by his parents, Jerry and Cindy Radford; brothers Jacob Radford of Chesterfields and Daniel Radford of Jetersville; sister April Radford of Amelia; paternal grandparents Nathan and Dora Radford of Chesterfield; nieces and nephews Adeline Radford, Haleigh Radford, Ava Radford, Haden "Bubby" Radford.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28, from 3-9 p.m. at Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, 16409 Court St. in Amelia.   A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Amelia County High School with private burial at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
